Encaustic Painting Workshop - Intro + Beyond
Learn to "Paint with Fire" with Atlanta artist, Penny Treese, and experience the luscious results of using the ancient Egyptian method of encaustic painting. Penny demos and provides one-on-one guidance in layering, texture building, mark-making, de-bossing, color mixing and more. All levels welcome.
Experience the ancient technique of encaustic painting in this full-day workshop at the historic CENTER near Serenbe, GA. Learn beginner to intermediate skills in layering, texture building, mark-making, de-bossing, dry brush/scumbling, translucency/opacity, color mixing and more.
